The OLAP Report is an internationally respected, authoritative Web-based source of information on OLAP products, applications, suppliers and trends. It also includes practical advice on selecting software and implementing applications. In total, The OLAP Report includes the equivalent of about 1600 printed pages. Totally independent of vendor influence, The OLAP Report is compiled by an editorial team led by Nigel Pendse, the leading analyst on the OLAP market.

Most of the content in The OLAP Report is separated into three main sections:

• Analyses — This section contains exclusive analyses of OLAP market trends, practical advice on making the most of OLAP software. Topics range from Implementing OLAP products to multidimensional reporting.
  
  
• Product reviews — There are dozens of full reviews, sometimes covering multiple products from one vendor, averaging over 30 pages in length including detailed scores tables. Note that these reviews are not vendor-sponsored, and vendors do not pay to be included. There is also an archive of reviews of older products which are no longer marketed, but may still be in use.
  
  
• Case Studies — The OLAP Report includes 23 business-oriented case studies. These focus on the problems that needed solving and the issues involved, rather than product features. The case studies feature a range of OLAP tools being used for different applications in both medium-sized and large multinational organizations.
